He can't sleep, not tonight. So as all people trapped in cheap motels and plagued with insomnia are wont to do, he finds himself making his way to the first floor lobby as the rest of his family continues to slumber upstairs. This was a spectacular short story. A little slow to start but once you get there, you're hooked, cheering for this boy who feels down on his luck. The plot is terrifying and intrigueing because of it. What happens now? I hope the writer some day decides to make it a full length or add on to this story. Who are these "monsters"?
